[摘要]目的：初步运用电子游标卡尺对新疆维吾尔人的下颌第一恒磨牙的近远中径（MD）、颊舌径（BL）进行测量，得出下
颌第一恒磨牙与性别推断的关系，并建立性别推断方程，为新疆维吾尔族的性别推断提供理论依据。方法：选取就读于新疆
医科大学口腔系符合纳入和排除标准的225名维吾尔族学生的下颌石膏模型，根据Hillson等所定义的方法测量下颌第一恒磨牙
的MD、BL，采用SPSS 23.0进行统计学分析。结果：男性的下颌第一恒磨牙的MD及BL的平均直径均比女性大，下颌第一恒磨牙
左右侧的MD及BL比较，差异均无统计学意义（P ＞0.05）。用左侧下颌第一恒磨牙性别推断方程得出的准确性分别为75.45%
（男性）和75.89%（女性）；利用右侧下颌第一恒磨牙性别推断方程得出的准确性分别为74.54%（男性）和79.46%（女
性）。结论：利用下颌第一恒磨牙牙冠部直径进行性别推断是一个简单、可靠的方法，可作为法医鉴定的一种补充手段。

Abstract:
Abstract: Objective The mesiodistal(MD)and buccolingual(BL)diameters of permanent mandibular first molars in Xinjiang
Uyghur populations were measured using digital vernier calipers, and to get the relationship between the permanent first molars
and gender inference, and to establish the gender estimation equation;so that can provide a theoretical basis for gender inference
of Xinjiang Uygurs. Methods Totally 225 Uyghur students cast models (male:111,female:114) who met the inclusion and
exclusion criteria at the department of stomatology of Xinjiang Medical University was selected to measure the MD and BL
diameters of the permanent first mandibular molar according to the method defined by Hillson et al.SPSS 23.0 was used for data
analysis. Results The mean diameters of MD and BLin the permanent mandibular first molars ,males were larger than those
in females; and there was no significant difference in the MD and BL diameters between the left and right side of thepermanent
mandibular first molars (P ＞0.05).The accuracy of using the permanent left mandibular first molar inference formula was
75.45% (male) and 75.89% (female), respectively. The accuracy of using the right sex inference equation of the first mandibular
was 74.54% (male) and 79.46% (female). Conclusion The use of permanent mandibular first molars for gender inference is a
simple and reliable method that can be used as a complementary means of forensic identification.
