Abstract:
Objective To analyze the eff ects of psychological behaviors intervention on compliance and psychological stress in children with microtia undergoing external ear reconstruction. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 64 children with microtia undergoing external ear reconstruction in Otolaryngology Department of Children’s Hospital Affi liated to Nanjing Medical University between March 2019 and February 2022. According to diff erent perioperative nursing methods, they were divided into observation group (35 cases, psychological behaviors intervention) and control group (29 cases, routine nursing intervention). The psychological stress situation[scores of screen for child anxiety related emotional disorders (SCARED), depression self-rating scale for children (DSRSC), child medical fear scale (CMFS), Connor-davidson resilience scale (CD-RISC)], compliance and nursing satisfaction of family members [score of Newcastle satisfaction with nursing scale (NSNS)] were compared between the two groups. Results SCARED and DSRSC scores in observation group were lower than those in control group (P<0.05). CMFS score in observation group was lower than that in control group, while CD-RISC score was higher than that in control group (P<0.05). The compliance rate in observation group was higher than that in control group (91.43% vs 68.97%, P<0.05), and nursing satisfaction of family members was higher than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Psychological behaviors intervention can eff ectively relieve psychological stress, improve compliance and nursing satisfaction of family members in children with microtia undergoing external ear reconstruction.
